How We Restore Your Gut Microbiome Balance

  • Consultation
  • Testing
  • Review Your Results
  • Gut Optimization Protocol

Step 1: Consultation

Meet our gut health provider via telehealth or in-person at our West Village office. During this initial consultation, you’ll review your symptoms, medical history, and environmental and lifestyle factors that may be contributing to your discomfort.

Step 2: Testing

Complete an at-home test kit to assess the state of your gut’s microbiome, including: yeast, bacteria, viruses, and parasites that may be living among your inflammation and digestion markers and sparking symptom flare-ups.

This test kit measures 170 species of bacteria and gut pathogens, along with markers of inflammation, digestion and gut metabolites.

Depending on your systems and optimization plan, we may also recommend:

  • Food and Chemical Sensitivity Test
  • Comprehensive Nutritional Deficiency Test

Step 3: Review Your Results

During a follow-up call or in-person meeting, our practitioner will review your microbiome test results, highlighting any correlations between your symptoms and loss of diversity in your microbiome, overgrowth of harmful organisms, and undergrowth of beneficial organisms.

Step 4: Gut Optimization Protocol

Our practitioner works with you to develop a bio-individualized healing protocol that addresses your symptoms and your gut’s unique deficiencies, this may include:

Gut Health Optimization Protocols

Your gut is a delicate ecosystem and restoring optional function does not happen overnight. A typical healing protocol takes at least three months, and many patients.
