Peptide Therapy

Our peptide therapy program features a wide range of peptides designed to help you regulate biological processes so that you can feel your best.

What is Peptide Therapy?

Peptides are short chains of amino acids that influence major biological processes. Though peptides are naturally-occurring, the volume of peptides in the body decreases with age.
Peptide therapy reintroduces peptides and harnesses their power to stimulate the release of essential hormones that regulate biological processes, like digestion, immunity, and tissue repair.

What are the benefits of peptide therapy?

Peptides have shown potential in a wide range of medical applications, including:
  • Hormone regulation:
Peptides can act as hormones or hormone regulators, helping to maintain homeostasis and promote normal bodily functions. Examples include insulin, which regulates blood sugar levels, and growth hormone-releasing peptides (CJC/Ipamorelin), which stimulate the production of growth hormone.
  • Anti-inflammatory and immune-modulating effects:
Some peptides have demonstrated the ability to modulate the immune system and reduce inflammation, making them promising candidates for treating autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. (Thymosin Beta-4, Thymosin Alpha-1
  • Tissue repair and regeneration:
Peptides can promote wound healing, tissue regeneration, and cellular growth, making them valuable in regenerative medicine and tissue engineering. (BPC157)
  • Antimicrobial properties:
Certain peptides possess antimicrobial activity, offering potential as new treatments for bacterial, fungal, and viral infections. (LL37)

Peptide Therapy Common Questions

Semaglutide

Please refer to the pricing page on our website or email us peptides@hudson.health. Prices are subject to change.
At this time, we do not offer Ozempic/Wegovy but we offer semaglutide, which is a generic version of Ozempic/Wegovy. Chemistry-wise, there is no difference between Ozempic and the generic version. All of our medication is sourced from FDA certified pharmacies to supply to the highest quality medications .
At this time, we do not offer the brand Mounjaro but we are offering Tirzepatide. Tirzepatide is a generic form of Mounjaro which is given to patients as a take home self injectable. Chemistry-wise, there is no difference between Mounjaro and the generic version. We also carefully vet our FDA certified pharmacies to supply to the highest quality medications
Tirzepatide is a stronger medication since it targets both receptor agonists (GLP1 and GIP) while Semaglutide works with only ONE receptor agonist (GLP1). The GLP1 receptor agonist is produced by our gut after we eat which signals our brain that we are full.
Yes we do. If you have done a consultation with one of our providers and been cleared for medication, you can stop by our clinic for an in clinic shot.
For our medical weight management program, there are no BMI requirements at this time, though we require our patient to check in with our providers every 3 months for follow up.
Appetite suppression, nausea, constipation can sometimes start hours after the injection. Weight loss will take several weeks of diet and lifestyle adjustments in conjunction with the medications to work.
For all patients: Follow your dosing card – if you have questions please reach out to your provider
Yes, if you feel one of the medications is not efficacious enough, you may switch and try the other.
Check in with your provider for recommendations of how to ease these side effects.
It depends on the patient’s medical history. We will accept previous lab work from your PCP or OB provider. If you have not completed one within the past year, our physician will provide your PCP with a referral sheet, or we can provide you with the lab requisition order too.
Your peptides will be self-administered through syringes.  Instructional video is here: video – how to draw the syringe and how to self-inject. Dosage instructions were provided by our team at the point of purchase, but if you have any questions, email peptides@hudson.health

Medical weight management therapies and tests

To get the best weight loss results, we recommend accompanying your medication with increased exercise, and a clean diet of whole foods with increased protein. Our 3 month weight loss program was designed by our clinical team to help you get the safest and most sustainable results

Take your dosage, and restart the weekly timer on the day you are taking the medication. Skipping a dose is okay, keep them on a weekly schedule.
Dexa scans are recommended to monitor muscle mass while taking semaglutide products. One of the reported side effects includes loss of muscle mass. DEXA scans are used to scan for body fat and bone density. The Body Fat scan gives us information on overall Fat, Lean Mass and Bone mass. In addition it also helps us understand how much Visceral Adipose Tissue or Visceral Fat we have surrounding the organs and also the type of obesity a patient may have.
The answer depends on what your health goals are! Speaking with your medical provider will allow you to plan next steps. If you have reached your health goals, patients may choose to stay on the medication or other peptide therapies for health optimization.  If you have not reached your health goals you may continue with another 3 month program or ala carte program depending on your needs.
Semaglutide and other weight loss medications are not a magical fix! You need to make lifestyle changes to support how the medication works. Proper exercise and nutrition are vital for ensuring the success of your weight loss and health optimization journey.
Many courses of peptides will be recommended on a 5 days a week, 3 month cycle. At the end of 3 months a follow up with the medical team is advised to check on progress; the provider may also make adjustments to your dosage, peptide mix, and or recommend supplements to support your goals.
